I called the last post slacking! this has been slacking.
Random life update:
Now awaiting A2 results so I can either go to Cambridge to do Natsci and be Tinkerbell and be with T and be happy next year, or go to Bristol. (and possibly still be happy)
It's sunny this is good, but windy which is less good lol, so confusing for us poor lifeguards who don't know whether to wear suncream and sunglasses or wrap up in jumpers and blankets. (normally end up doing both :D)
T comes back from his travels tomorrowl, this makes me happy :)

Slacking

Got a receipt of UCAS application confirmation do da from Bristol, and thought not an offer seems so odd as it really kicks home that yes I have actually applied to Uni! *crosses fingers*

Of sunshine
Today was gloriously sunny *touches wood for this continuation* its just kinda nice for once and funny how the sunshine makes you feel better, digging out the happiness that threatens to hide away sometimes.
I swear when they give you the measurements for things so you can get the right size they should fit, but no, the sods law of camp/trip uniform says that no matter what, things will never fit. At least a couple of jumpers can be worn under it, tehe.
Any Scouts out there got any advice with actually finding uniform trouser that fit? Even vaguely, we're not fussy as a unit over things fitting properly, (just look at us in our scout shirts) and we didn't think too oddly shaped or sized either.
3 weeks 2 days til results.
RIP Uncle Bill. We're all gonna miss you.

Randomness
Going to try and write this vaguely regularly as in my book of 101 things to do before your old and boring blogging is in there. Where so far I have failed miserably I may do better :D (Well thats the intention :p)
Not alot to say thought really but a thank you to people for being friendly cause sometimes friends do a whole lot more for you than they'll ever know by just being around. I guess sitting with mum in the hospital today made me appreciate how important everyone is in one of those random moments of clarity and purpose.
3 weeks 5 days until exam results, eeeeehhhh.

Campa le Cheile
Tattersalls (Nr Dublin): 1024 Girl Guides and Scouts: 7 Days: Lots of rain.
What we learned:
What we learned:
- Boghopping is the most fun you can have with well... bog.
- Waterproofs = Internationally recognised uniform.
- A hail and thunderstorm is a sure fire way to send the opening ceremony inside. (Only after making the colour parties get very cold and wet breaking or putting up their flags of course)
- 9:00 means 9:40. (Thus 'run the bus is leaving' should be ignored)
- Healthy eating ethos involves no biscuits or sweets or fruit or vegetables but lots of swiss roll.
- Frisbee = Extra life.
- Running water should not be taken for granted.
- Swapping is great fun!
- Appreciate your own Guiders, and their way of doing things.
- Smile.
- Sing.
- Some peoples claustrophobia is selective depending on which tent they want to sleep in.
- Chubba Chops (sp?) taste better when they only cost 5 cents, and you've had 5 hours sleep.
- We have a common bond. And always will.
- Letters are good.
- Drawing animal faces on faces in permanent marker before he closing ceremony is not something all leaders appreciate. (Thought some do.)
- How they got campfire ashes without actually having a campfire.
- How they got the ropes up the flagpoles in the first place.
- Why P was so angry.
- Lots of fun.
- An experience.
- And a giggle on the way.

Friends...
Real friends are the people who are excited for you, and say that things are 'another thing to add to the list of life experiences', instead of saying they'd never do it, you shouldn't and then continue to try and pick as many holes in it as possible when your already nervous!!
eh.
eh.
